Within the framework of strengthening scientific cooperation and exchanging expertise among academic institutions, the General Secretariat of the Central Library at Tikrit University received a delegation from the library staff of the Technical Institute in Al-Dour. The visit aimed to explore modern operational mechanisms in the field of library science.
The visit included an introductory tour during which the delegation was acquainted with the library’s management systems, as well as the adopted methods of archiving and classification, in addition to the services provided to students and researchers, all of which contribute to supporting the academic and knowledge environment.
The meeting also witnessed discussions on prospects for joint cooperation and the exchange of expertise in the areas of electronic cataloging and the management of scientific resources, in a manner that enhances institutional performance and elevates the quality of library services.
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation expressed their sincere appreciation and gratitude for the warm reception and cooperation extended by the library administration, emphasizing the importance of continuing such visits due to their effective role in advancing academic work.
