Division Head: Muheeb Muhammad Hussein
The Training and Continuing Education Division is responsible for preparing and implementing training and qualification programs for staff in branch libraries affiliated with the university’s faculties, with a particular focus on the Central Library and information centers. The division ensures the provision of all necessary resources for these programs and oversees their successful execution.
Training is delivered through traditional classroom courses, workshops, and online platforms, while maintaining continuous communication with researchers, faculty members, and staff, whether at the University Presidency, affiliated faculties, external instructors, or the Continuing Education Center at the University Presidency. The division coordinates the nomination of qualified participants for these training programs, both from within the university and externally.
Additionally, the division provides the Central Library administration with regular official statistics on participation, aiming to enhance the scientific and knowledge-based competencies of all university members, including faculty, staff, and undergraduate and postgraduate students, in alignment with the goals of the Central Library as an integral part of the university’s mission.
