Meeting to Discuss the Development of Administrative
and Technical Performance in University Libraries
As part of the efforts to enhance administrative and technical performance, ensure smooth workflow in the divisions of the colleges, and improve the quality of services provided to beneficiaries in university libraries, a meeting was held on Monday, October 20, 2025, chaired by Asst. Lecturer Abdulatif Sharif Shihab, Secretary-General of the Central Library at the University of Tikrit.
The meeting was attended by the heads of divisions in the General Secretariat of the Central Library, along with several heads of library divisions from the colleges.
During the meeting, several topics related to improving work mechanisms and strengthening cooperation among divisions were discussed, with the aim of advancing the quality of administrative and library services. The participants also emphasized the importance of activating the role of college libraries by organizing book fairs, cultural festivals, and workshops for students to raise awareness about the role of libraries in supporting education and serving students and researchers.
