Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, President of Tikrit University, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Sayyaf Abdul Hussein, Director of the Continuing Education Center, and Assistant Lecturer Abdul Latif Sharif Shihab, Secretary General of the Central Library, the Continuing Education Division of the General Secretariat of the Central Library, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, organized a scientific seminar entitled “The Role of the Central Library in Developing Knowledge and Building the Student’s Personality.”
The seminar was held on Sunday, 18 January 2026, at 10:30 a.m. in the hall of the Continuing Education Division (Central Library – second floor). The speakers addressed the vital role of the Central Library in supporting the educational process, developing students’ scientific research skills, enhancing academic culture, and contributing to the scientific and intellectual development of students’ personalities, as well as highlighting the impact of university libraries on improving the educational environment and reinforcing scientific values.
At the conclusion of the seminar, the General Secretariat of the Central Library extended its sincere thanks and appreciation to the speakers and participants, wishing everyone continued success and prosperity.
