The General Secretariat of the Central Library at the University of Tikrit welcomed today students from the Department of Sociology – College of Arts, accompanied by Lecturer Lama Basheer, as part of a field-visit program designed to strengthen the practical training of students and acquaint them with the library’s operations and academic services.
The visit included a tour of the library’s various departments, where the students were introduced to cataloging and circulation systems, electronic services available to researchers and students, and the mechanisms for accessing databases and scientific resources.
This visit comes within the framework of supporting collaboration between the College and the Central Library, contributing to the development of students’ capabilities and equipping them with essential research skills.
