Under the patronage of the President of Tikrit University, Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, and with direct guidance from the Secretary-General of the Central Library, Assistant Lecturer Abdul-Latif Sharif Shihab, the General Secretariat of the Central Library hosted the chess championship organized by the Department of Student Activities at the College of Physical Education this morning.
The event was attended by the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Dr. Anwar, who praised the level of organization and the library’s role in supporting university student activities.
