Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, President of the University of Tikrit,
and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Siaf Abdul Hussein, Director of the Continuing Education Center, with follow-up by Assistant Lecturer Abdul Latif Sharif Shahab, Secretary General of the Central Library, the Continuing Education Division at the General Secretariat of the Central Library, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center and the College of Law, organized a scientific seminar entitled:
“Intellectual and Legislative Awareness of Religious Extremism and Terrorism.”
The seminar was held on Tuesday, 30 December 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the Continuing Education Division Hall at the Central Library. It formed part of a series of scientific activities aimed at enhancing intellectual and legislative awareness within the university community, highlighting the dangers of religious extremism and terrorism, and exploring legal and intellectual approaches to confronting them.
The seminar was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Batool Faisal Mashal Al-Samarrai, a faculty member at the College of Law, who addressed multiple themes related to the intellectual and legislative dimensions of extremism and their impact on societal security and stability.
At the conclusion of the seminar, a letter of appreciation and a commemorative shield were presented to the lecturer in recognition of her academic efforts and distinguished contribution to the success of the seminar.
