On 25 November 2025, students from the College of Education for Women – Department of English, third stage, conducted a visit to the Central Library at the University of Tikrit as part of the field-visit program aimed at enhancing students’ practical skills.
The visit included an overview of the library’s departments, the mechanisms of delivering library services, cataloging and archiving systems, as well as learning about the workflow in the Circulation and Reference Units. The students also received a brief explanation of how information resources are organized and how support is provided to beneficiaries.
This visit aimed to develop students’ competencies and familiarize them with the role of the Central Library in supporting the educational and research process within the university.
