As part of the activities of the College of Education for Women / Department of English,
fourth stage, the department organized an academic visit to the Central Library on Monday, 17 November 2025, under the supervision of Dr. Doaa Abdulsalam and Assistant Lecturer Basma Faisal.
During the visit, the students were briefed on the workflow of the Central Library and the services it provides to its visitors, including students and researchers. They also learned about cataloging methods, resource classification, borrowing procedures, and electronic search mechanisms. In addition, the delegation received a detailed explanation of the academic role played by the library in supporting the educational and research process.
This visit aims to enhance the practical skills of the students and expand their knowledge of information and library environments, in line with the scientific goals and requirements of the English Department.
