The Continuing Education Division at the General Secretariat of the Central Library, in cooperation with the Administrative Affairs Division, and under the supervision and patronage of the Secretary-General of the Central Library, Assistant Lecturer Abdul Latif Sharif Shehab, distributed brochures commemorating the World Arabic Language Day (the Language of Ḍād), as part of the global celebration highlighting the richness of the Arabic language and its cultural heritage, observed on 18 December.
This initiative aims to enhance awareness of the importance of the Arabic language and to acknowledge its significant role in human civilization throughout history and across various fields such as philosophy, literature, and science, as well as to strengthen its presence and encourage its use in international forums and across different domains.
